Résumé : | This publication provides an overview of the higher education system in Albania. Information is presented according to the following themes : overall description, current challenges and needs (trends and challenges, the Bologna Process), participation in Eu programmes (Tempus, Erasmus Mundus), bibliographical references and websites. On 18 September 2003, Albania officially joined the Bologna process. Since then, higher education legislation has been updated with a view to supporting the Bologna process reforms and responding to national needs. The reform process has addressed issues such as study cycles, the introduction of ECTS, Diploma Supplements, financing of higher education, academic standards, teaching loads, and student admissions. |
