Résumé : | This is an overview of strategies for supporting schools and teachers in order to foster social inclusion in Italy. Information is presented according to the following themes : general overview on the italian school context (the italian school system's educational choices, immigrant pupils' population, minority background pupils at school, language, school success), strategies for supporting schools and teachers in order to foster social inclusion, bullying, and the school integration of disabled students in Italy (legislation and its impact on disabled students' schooling and school system, support teachers, how to interpret thepresent situation ? Disability diagnosis and certification, law educational levels of disable students, situations of gravity, the quality of teacher's classroom pedagogy and their professionnal identity, peer relations in the classroom, orientation to work and the relation school-work, relations among schools, social services and families, future prospects). |
